Well folks. After reading email after email after email (after email) asking why I haven't posted anything for a while, I decided to give in and write some more. I guess this is sort of my "Beatles For Sale" post (meaning I'm just fulfilling my contractual obligations, for all you people out there who didn't understand what I meant by that Beatles For Sale reference).
But what to say. I could go on a rant about... well just about anything really. I have complete control here. But that statement right there makes things a whole lot harder. If there were restrictions, it would be easy to decide what to write because it would already be decided for me. But maybe (just maybe) I should "man up" and make a decision. But what will it be???? Politics? Music? Christmas??? Who knows...
17 years old. What a boring age. What can you do??? Nothing really is the answer. In Toronto (just as an example, that doesn't me I do or do not live there) all I can do is either go to movies or go to sporting events. And the occasional concert when a good band comes through (hasn't happened in a while so for the sake of this argument, they will be excluded). I can't go to clubs. or bars. Even some concerts I can't go to! But what makes a 19 year old so much better or mature than me? I would say not much. A person (in my opinion) doesn't change very much between the ages of 17 and 19. They act the same, they talk the same, they eat the same, the sleep the same amounts... So what do I propose? Well I'm not too sure. I guess lowering all age restrictions to 17 (in my mind 16 is too young people are still maturing in grade 11, but by grade 12, I think you pretty much know who you are). Or come up with stuff for us young folk to do!

Keeping Up Appearances

This is a post just to let my faithful readers know that I am still alive. It has been many-a-month since my last post so I thought maybe you people would start to worry about my well being. Here I am. Right here. Well and fine. Fine and well. Fine and dandy in fact! here is a picture to prove it, just incase you are a doubting thomas (which you probably are this day and age). I feel the sideway-ness of the picture adds a certain attitude to the picture, which it was lacking the right way up.
There should be more to come later, but right now I need to go figure out who, what, when, where, and last (and most certainly not least) why. When I have figured it out I will enrich your lives with the answers!

My Triumphant Comeback!!!

Well ladies and gentlemen I'M BACK! After a very long hiatus of thinking it boring to post posts I have officially become bored enough to post yet again!!! Well as The Who put it "There ain't no cure for the summertime blues." But then again who cares what The Who say??? Summer time is a happy time. Blue skies, green grass, summer blockbusters, concerts (yet no good band are coming through the T dot this summer the best act being Edgefest II which features bands like The All American Rejects and so on). So in times like these we turn to baseball. The bluejays. It isn't going to happen this season. Too many injuries. What can I say. Maybe 2007. Well it's late. More will come later once I think of something to sayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.

Well the last post seemed to be a failure, so here is yet another.

After reading about The Beatles' time in Hamburg, I have made a MAJOR decision. That decision is... I might bring back the D A! I think it would be appropriate. If you do not know what the D A is, go ask your parents and they will tell you (that is if your parents were teens in the 50s or 60s).

Write in and leave a comment telling me if I should bring back the D A thing or not.

Well. It has been a while, so I figured I should write something to keep my ever so faithful fans happy.

Since the march break is upon us, I thought I would find a picture of a previous holiday to put up. Whilst I was looking for the PERFECT picture, I stumbled on this one which is of my trip to Spain last summer. It is of the Dali park (I believe) which is an extremly cool place.

Now lets play a game. Try and find me in this picture. If you don't know me then you are out of luck, but if you do know me and you think you know where I am in the picture and what colour shirt I'm wearing (that is to say if I am wearing a shirt at all), leave a comment on my blog with your response. If you happened to be on that trip and present when the picture was taken, please do not write in. If you are the person who thinks they are my god/goddess you MUST get this right to remain at that status. Those are the rules of the game. What? I guess it's true

O no! I guess it can happen! When the early translation of the Bible said that Moses grew horns on the top of his head, everybody thought it was a mis-translation, but I guess it was correct! But instead of of horns growing out of your head, it's those weird neck pillows tied to your head. This man must have been talking to God right before this picture was taken. If you pray as hard and devote your life to God like this man obviously has, you can look like him with the pillow on top of your head!

Blue Jays

Well for those of you that know me you know that I love baseball. And with spring training now underway, I am starting to catch the baseball bug. Especially this season with the Blue Jays having a legitimate chance to make it to the post season! I sure most of you are thinking "Ya right" but this year it is true! When Rogers bought the team before last season the Blue Jays acquired a lot of money. This was EXTREMLY helpful because (as you all know) the Blue Jays are in arguably the thoughest division with the Yankees and the Red Sox who both have a whole lto more money than the Blue Jays. The Rogers money helped the Jays drastically improve this offseason. They got a solid starting pitcher, an amazing closer, a high quality catcher, a good first baseman, and finally a good third baseman. After all of these acquisitions, www.mlb.com has predicted the Blue Jays to finish in FIRST in the division!! This is AMAZING!! And this is largely due to J P Riccardi who has just been incredible at going out and getting who he wants.

I close is saying this will be a season to remeber!

Oasis's new album review

"Don't Believe the Truth if you don't want to, but the new Oasis album sucks dookie cigars. Indeed, this may be the least interesting new music product I've heard all year, though in fairness I should note that I haven't yet heard the Coldplay album. This makes that crappy Now 18 album I was mocking last week sound almost good. At least "Over and Over" has a hook, even if it doesn't go anywhere.
I'm not picking up even one decent hook on this entire frickin' piece of album product. I'm listening to the record right now as I'm writing, and I'm having trouble remembering how the songs go even while I'm listening for the severalth time.
Oasis have often been accused of stealing from classic 60s rock bands, particularly the Beatles and Stones."
So there you have it. The verdict is in and..............THEY SUCK! And they steal from good bands!

Now I know that some of my readers are infact Oasis fans. I'm sorry if this offends you, but it is my blog and I am just writing how I feel. Keep reading.

It starts in 20 minutes, we're going to be late! You know how those opera folk get if you show up late.

Well now that I have developed a strong fan base I have the fredom to write anything. Well let us get down to business.

OASIS! Possibly the worst band on the face of the Earth! THEY ARE THE BIGGEST BEATLES RIP OFF EVER! Now some people may say that since they don't deny the fact that they COMPLETELY rip off the Beatles it is ok. Well I'm sorry, but it is not ok. Making millions of dollars stealing material from one of the best bands ever is not ok! And even when you get past the fact that they are less original than COLDPLAY, it still sucks! It's boring pop with dumb lyrics such as "Where were you while we were getting high?" and "Slowly walking down the hall faster than a cannon ball".

I just don't understand how bands like Oasis and Coldplay can become so famous even though they are SO unoriginal! There is alot of real talent out there, why don't we try to stick to that and see how it goes. If that doesn't work, then I'll shut up.

Paul is dead!

O NO!! But wait a minute. Didn't he just release a cd this year? I could have sworn I just saw him at the Grammys. But if some hippies who look at Beatles record covers in the mirror and see stuff like "He died" and a phone number that if you call says "you're getting closer" think he's dead then who am I to say he's not. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_is_Dead Very interesting. I read it all and I have to say it is very convincing. And yet I can't help think that it is all FAKE! But still it's a fun read. For all you people that say that well he's still making cds so he can't be dead (like I said at the beginning of the post) he was supposedly replaced. By an ex Ontario policeman William Shears Campbell. According to this myth, a William Campbell won a "Paul look-alike" contest in 1966 and was induced to impersonate Paul after Paul died. So there you go, the evidence is rock solid.

Anyways I thought you should know that Paul McCartney is in fact dead.

Thats right. Get ready for this one. It's a shocker (I don't even know her). I (as in me) am about to tell you the greatest piece of information you have ever heard. This willl BLOW your mind! I really don't think you're ready for it. How can you show me that you're worthy of knowing this information? If you think you're ready and you really want to know SCREAM out as loud as you can "TELL ME O MIGHTY ONE!" O you think there's no way you'll do it? Well, I guess you don't really need to know. I mean it would change you're life for the better, but if you are to proud I guess you can keep on living you're boring life. O, you've changed your mind? Then lets hear it. SCREAM. Ok good.

O wow. This is embarrassing. After all that typing, I've forgot what I was going to tell you. What was it? I know it was someting great. I am sure of that. Good Day Sunshine

So many things to say. So little time. With Revolver blasting in my brain and msn going at full tilt we'll see what I can get out.

Thought. MUSIC. Thought gone. O well it couldn't have been that good really.

"I want to tell you. My head is filled with things to say." Seemed rather fitting for this situation.

Why does everyone like football? It's a stupid sport. The goal of the defense is to hit a person so hard that they fall over. And the harder you hit the person the more the play will be replayed on tv. So basically the goal is to hit the person with the ball as hard as is humanly possible. In fact, there is a segment on TSN Sportcentre called "The Hit Parade". It is the hardest tackles of the past week. And parents are worried about the violence in movies but they let their kids watch REAL violence. It just doens't make sence to me. LOOK AT THAT PICTURE!!!!

I even have a story about the violence of football. The day is New Years day 2006. The time is night. An innocent touch (well it was supposed to be touch) football game is in progress. Of course I am winning by alot. Now what I have failed to mention is that on my team is this big wierd guy named "Big Joe". He is one of these really creepy people who just stands in the corner and stares and says nothing unless he needs to. So my team is playing defense and the ball is handed off to this girl named Lauren who is about half of Big Joe's size weighing in at about 118. So. Lauren is running with the ball and Big Joe (who is playing defense) run towads her to try and stop her from getting a touchdown. Most likely from watching to much pro-football on tv, he runs into her at full speed! (and I swear I saw him grinning when he did it) So Lauren goes flying and does a flip in the air from the force that has just hit her from the LUNATIC "Big Joe". After completing the flip, she falls straight on her ass on the cement!!! As everybody around her cringes from the pain they know Lauren has just felt, "Big Joe" just stands there. Just stands there. Like Mark Chapman after shooting and killing John Lennon! After a few seconds, he tries to blame another person for his brutal attack. Well as you could imagine, Lauren was in pain for about a week after the incident and I have not seen "Big Joe" again. And I don't plan to for my own safety!

Anyways that enough ranting for now.

My advice for those who die declare the pennies on your eyes

Let us start with music. Yes that seems like a good thing to do. In my opinion (and that is the only opinion you will hear on this blog) you can't beat The Beatles. Not the early stuff like Love Me Do (which is still good) but the stuff like anything on Revolver and Abbey Road. Every song is a classic. What makes The Beatles so good you ask? Well I think it's the complete difference between John and Paul. John with his emotion and rockier style and Paul with his talent and pop style. Now I'm not saying John doesn't have talent, because he most certainly does, but I think that Paul is definitely more talented. Perfect examples of their different styles are the songs For No One and I Want You (She's so Heavy). For No One (as I'm sure you all know) is a Paul song and it is quite poppy, and his voice is beautiful. I Want You (She's so Heavy) is obviously a John song and it is very rocky/blues (for The Beatles). It is the complete opposite of For No One but it is just as good. The Beatles are split between genres and this keeps them fresh. You never get tired of them because it is like listening to two different bands on every record. You get your rock music fix and you also get your pretty song fix. That's my two cents on the Beatles. I'm sure they will come up again.

Something AMAZING to start this blog off right

Well, I couldn't think of it so I guess this'll have to do:

I am me. If you don't know me what are you doing on my blog?? (See that's my rebel without a cause attitude) What can I say. I really have no reason for making this blog. I'm just bored. I really don't know what will be on the blog. We'll see what the future has in store for it. But I do know one thing and that one thing is this blog will be FANTASTIC! It will leave you thinking "Wow this guy is a genius, I feel inferior now that I have read this".
